This artist book was created in !999. While
preparing for a theater trip to Miami "The
Communist Manifesto" was given to the artist as a
gift to read during the flight. The artist quickly
transformed the book into a sketchbook to capture
and record ideas that were distilling rapidly.
During this period the artist was expecting his first
child and the information from books and
meditation was offering creative insight to explore.
This original work has been purchased by the
University of Colorado to be added to their
permanent collection. The book will be used as a
teaching aide to illustrate techniques and conceptual
ideas in visual art.
